👋 I am Tippy Dringman
Tippy Dringman (she/her) was born and raised in the beautiful state of Montana, where she began dancing as soon as she could walk, and developed a passion for movement as she grew up as a dancer, gymnast, and movement enthusiast. While immersed in the education of many styles of dance, Tippy became exposed to yoga as a way to increase flexibility and strength as a dancer. At age 15 she became more serious about her practice for the beneficial physical attributes of the asana, and began a regular practice. To pursue a career in dance and pre-physical therapy Tippy attended college in Los Angeles, California at Loyola Marymount University, graduating in 2020 with a BA in Dance, as well as a BS in Health and Human Sciences. Tippy earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Lila Flow Yoga in the summer of 2020, where she reconnected with the spirituality of yoga by learning the deeply rooted historical context of yoga within Indian culture. Tippy is grateful to be a guest within yoga, and acknowledges her capability to practice and teach yoga as a tremendous privilege. Tippy aspires to utilize yoga to make the gift of movement accessible to everyone, and encourage people to embrace the power of the physical, mental, and spiritual bodies. Tippy teaches private and public instruction of yoga, dances professionally, and intends to eventually attend graduate school to earn a doctorate of physical therapy.
