Tatyana Souza

As a PhD of Immunology and an E-RYT 500, Tatyana weaves together her health and body knowledge from eastern and western traditions. Inspired by the mental & physiological benefits of a consistent yoga practice, Tatyana left her career in the pharmaceutical industry to found the former Coolidge Yoga studio in Brookline.

Tatyana has been teaching yoga since 2011 and completed her 200 hours with Back Bay Yoga in Boston and her 300 hours at the Wanderlust Studio in Los Angeles. Tatyana has led teacher training and mentorship programs since 2016 and has mentored many teachers at her former studio. Tatyana's teaching is currently inspired by Kate Gillespie, Matt Phippen, Schuyler Grant and Tias Little. Tatyana’s focus while teaching is to weave together creative sequencing with well-informed cues that facilitate strength, length, and mobility in the body, to ground and center the nervous system for a more balanced mental state, and to create a safe experience where everyone can enjoy the practice and build it from the ground up.
