Susan Walkinshaw

I started my yoga practice 25 years ago after my first son was born. I needed a restorative and stress relieving exercise. I found it in a yoga videotape. I practiced almost every day until my second son and then more sporadically until giving it up for a while. I came back to it when my new employer had a class on site every week. Then my son’s soccer team came to The Plymouth Yoga Room 10 years ago to practice and so did I. I have been practicing regularly ever since and became a teacher last year as part of my retirement. I just feel better in mind body and soul when I practice regularly. I love the discipline, focus, and the balance of strength and flexibility that I get from my practice. Every time on my mat is a chance to discover something new.
