Shannon Stone

Shannon’s relationship with yoga began over 20 years ago. Answering the internal call to evolve her own practice & explore the connection between the "self" & the Divine, she earned her 200 Hour Intuitive Vinyasa Flow© YTT with Rachel Wilkins Yoga here in Santa Barbara, where she’s been sharing outdoor offerings with students ever since. 

Her classes are accessible to anyone interested in practicing yoga. Centered around traditional alignment archetypes and Patanjali’s 8 Limbs of Yoga, students can expect creative, playful, & soulful offerings, honoring the roots & history of yoga. With an emphasis on Pranayama (breath control practice) and Meditation, get ready to let go of distractions, relax, & simply “Be Here Now”.

Meeting every student where they are, Shannon encourages intuitive movement, inviting curiosity to guide you. There isn’t room for “perfection” in her classes, so if you wobble, fall, or feel discomfort along your edge, CONGRATS! THIS is where transformation happens!

Shannon plans to continue her education this summer with Ignite Yoga & Wellness Institute (300 hr YTT), under the leadership of Susanna Barkataki. Her focus will be on deepening her understanding of Yin, Restorative, & Meditation practices, with a strong focus on inclusion, social justice, & diversity.
