Sifu Russell Therrien's martial arts journey began more than fifty years ago. Through many teachers, many restarts, and more than a few resets, he is happy to be sharing this Tai Chi program. Tai Chi as practiced today is well suited for health restoration, improvement, and maintenance. Learning to deliberately relax, stay relaxed, and purposefully move has great effect for the body and mind. Together they promote a deep parasympathetic autonomic response, enable lymph propulsion, as well as restorative joint hydration and lubrication, to mention only a few. Students often remark on both the mental and physical comfort and balance they feel after class. No experience is necessary, anyone can benefit.
