My yoga journey began in 2003 as a means of stress relief.  As my yoga practice grew, I recognized the benefits of flexibility, strength and balance in my athletic endeavors, such as running and cycling. As yoga became a consistent part of my life, I decided that I wanted to pursue teaching so I could share all the positive aspects of yoga with others.  I became certified in Pranassage from Evolve in 2015 and graduated from the Evolve YTT class in 2016. Additionally, I have training in Restorative Yoga and Yoga for Core Strength. I have been teaching yoga since 2016.  I am a Second Degree Usui Reiki practitioner and am working toward Reiki Master.  My personal philosophy as a teacher is to share the positive aspects of yoga with my students. I hope to teach that yoga is not competitive and that it can be tailored to the individual's needs.  Yoga can benefit them individually mind, body and spirit.  Every person is unique therefore their relationship with yoga will be unique as well.
