After college graduation, I found myself living next door to a yoga studio. As I watched students coming and going every day, I got curious. Because while movement and exercise were always a big part of my life, yoga was never something I gave much thought to. Fast forward 14 years, my practice has become an essential part of who I am and how far I have come as an individual, a partner, a friend and a mother. The physical movement and breathwork keep me present and aware of what is happening in my body and mind. Over time, this awareness has been the catalyst for self-discovery, self-compassion and self-acceptance off my mat.
I completed my 200 hour teacher training at One Point One Yoga in August 2020. As an instructor, I love guiding students through a class that works for their body on that day. Whether that means encouraging the use of a prop for better alignment or finding a variation to a pose, my hope is to empower every person in the room to find the strongest version of themselves.
Outside of yoga, I am a full-time mom to two young boys and a baby girl. I love indoor cycling, traveling, trying new restaurants and driving around ALONE and listening to podcasts and audiobooks lol.
In my classes, expect: A flow rooted in a balance of strength, flexibility and cues for engaged alignment. You can count on a mindful intention to begin, purposeful sequencing and thoughtful music to keep you immersed as you move. I look forward to seeing you, holding space for you and learning from you each week.
