Celia DeBoer

Calm, cool, collected are Celia’s three C’s of yoga. Celia found yoga in 2014 after finishing her masters in Women's and Gender Studies. Since then she uses yoga as a form of self-care to process the next steps of her life path. It was through the self-reflection that yoga fostered, in which she found she wanted more personable connections with people. The mind-body connection that yoga provides is an emphasis in her classes. She believes that when you are in tune with your breath and body, you can make meaningful connections with others. Once she made that realization, combined with her passion for learning, she had to delve deeper into the practice beyond the mat. In 2017, she completed 200hr YTT at Zen Yoga Garage as the first step in her journey as a yoga teacher.
