When To Schedule Classes
It probably doesn't come as a surprise that Monday's are the most popular day for yoga classes. While Sunday might be the first day of the week in our daybook, Monday is the first day of the week in our hearts. So why not kick things off with a step towards better wellness.
Mondays on average have the most number of people on Union across the board. Tuesday closely follows and it goes downhill from there. When choosing to hold multiple classes in a day, we suggest sticking with the first three days of the week for the most class offerings. You'll want to experiment with which styles of classes your students like but offering classes in the early morning, at lunch, and after work seem to be the times to start with.
Friday and Saturday, are the lowest performing days for classes. These are more often than not morning and lunch time classes since students might have weekend plans in the evening. To save on overhead, its recommended to have the least number of classes on these days.
Then, on Sunday, we see a change of events. There's an uptick of users on Union. Sunday morning classes are a little bit like going to church. We also see that this is a top day for older students. Again, you'll need to experiment a bit with class styles and time of the day but Sundays are the third most engaged day, so it goes to show that you'll want classes up on the schedule.

Schedules Based on Age
When it comes to your Org, knowing who you serve is important in every area of your business. From marketing to scheduling classes. Do you get a majority of 18-34 year olds? 35-44 year olds? or students over the age of 45? By knowing who you are catering to you can build a schedule that best serves them.
You'll see that 18-34 years olds prioritize their workouts from Monday-Wednesday while 45-64 year olds are practicing Sunday-Thursday. When you understand who your customer is you'll know what their schedules look like. Someone who is older might have a lot more flexibility in their careers or could even be retired and therefor can practice anytime during the week. If your students are college students then you might see a lot less of them early in the morning and lunch time and anytime after 4:00 pm are going to be busy.
Look at your own analytics to see what age demographic you see the most of and create a schedule based on their needs.

Testing out your schedule
Like all things in marketing, it's all about A/B testing. Create a schedule and let it run for 3-4 months. Then look and see what your lowest performing classes are. Is it because of the class style or because of the class time, or maybe it's the teacher? Change one of those components and let it run for another 3-4 months and see what's changed.
In today's society, we like quick results and point blank answers. But the truth of the matter is that your Org is different from every other Org that's on Union. That's what keeps your customers coming back to you. By taking the time to A/B test things you can create a customized experience that matches the needs of your exact audience which will keep them coming back for more and telling their friends about you.
