I remember my very first savasana in 1999 as a deep aaahhhh moment. Clarity in my mind, ease in my body, and a sense of connection in my spirit. Looking back now, I can easily see how my life was redirected. Si...The Old Story – A 5-Element Flow

What is your relationship to the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space?
This practice begins with that question as an invitation to explore not just movement, but memory, rhythm, and the stories we carry in the body.
This practice begins with that question as an invitation to explore not just movement, but memory, rhythm, and the stories we carry in the body.
Through a well-rounded vinyasa flow, we move through each element:
🌍 Earth – Grounding through the feet and legs, reconnecting to steadiness and support
💧 Water – Breath-led flow and fluid transitions that invite softening and release
🔥 Fire – Core work and purposeful action to ignite willpower and transformation
🌬 Air – Expansion through the heart and side body, creating space for lightness and inspiration
✨ Ether – Deep rest, presence, and mantra to return to stillness and spacious awareness

🔥 Fire – Core work and purposeful action to ignite willpower and transformation
🌬 Air – Expansion through the heart and side body, creating space for lightness and inspiration
✨ Ether – Deep rest, presence, and mantra to return to stillness and spacious awareness
We close with a mantra practice inspired by Trevor Hall’s “The Old Story”—an offering to rewrite the inner narratives that no longer serve, and remember what’s been true all along.
Come as you are. Leave rooted, clear, and attuned to the elements within and around you.
