25 years on the mat. Still a beginners heart … this practice, this practice. The compass to my true north🙏🏻 Teaching yoga is one of my greatest joys! Being able to share what this practice gives is such an honor....
Yin yoga is slow, meditative, and stretches deep connective tissue. The theories of yin yoga are based on Chinese and Taoist principles which relate the stretches directly to energy (chi) flow. The poses are held for longer periods of time offering space to turn inward to both the mind and physical sensations. This helps to create space for psycho-spiiritul inquiry through the somatic perspective in healing.
