Yoga for Stress Relief
Everyday stressors as well as various life challenges can keep us chronically stressed. Addressing stress is key to healing and maintaining good health. This class is designed to down-regulate the nervous system with simple, mindful and repetitive movements. There is an emphasis on retraining and improving breathing habits both in movement, stillness and daily life.
In this class, we utilize a combination of breathing exercises (pranayama), yoga postures (asana) and meditation to balance and soothe an overactive nervous system and to support the body to regain optimal health.
