Class begins with legs up the wall and slowly we move onto the floor with legs standing into the wall. A lot of time spent with arms extended and engaging low back and pelvis to the wall enabling a solid engagement into the floor. Standing postures with similar engagement and extension through the back of the leg and achilles tendon. Nice relaxed finish with legs up the wall.

Level 1 Green classes make up the majority of the Avita practice because they bring results. It is where the healing happens. Green classes take a reductionist approach to yoga so that neither the body nor the mind is overwhelmed. In fact, the soothing pressure induces the body's natural healing process. You will come to know it as a healing sensation. With a little time and practice, you may be drawn to the Avita Orange classes.

Avita Yoga® brings areas of conflict and rigidity to light where it is resolved. It is a sustainable practice that generates long-term results with more freedom in the body and more peace of mind. If you've ever thought that you are too stiff for yoga, then Avita is for you. The goal is simple: to remain healthy, mobile, and happy as long as possible. Avita Yoga is a results-driven practice, ideally three to four times per week. Some are called to practice daily, but start slow and pace yourself. It works for students of all ages, abilities, and degrees of mobility. Avita is the yoga for a lifetime®
