Your breath is a great tool to gauge how you are doing. By drawing more awareness into your breath and then into your body you can become very present in the moment. During this practice the focus is on these to things: your breath & your body to keep the mind still. Come be present with yourself and practice hip openers and tree pose.
Props: 2 blocks, 1 shower towel, strap, bolster/pillow (optional)

Hatha Align gives attention to form, movement and alignment of yoga poses through safe instruction. Close attention to detail is the catalyst for the physical, mental and spiritual transformation of your yoga practice. Typical yoga postures, asana, are practiced generally without flowing movement, may be repeated, and are often broken down to bring greater awareness to the action of the poses.
Classes may include pranayama and meditation. Open to all levels of practice.

Health & Safety Information (for In Person Classes Only):

  • These indoor classes will take place in the studio, located at 286 Divisadero St in Lower Haight. 
  • Only students 18 and above can take class. Masks are required of all students and staff upon entrance and in common spaces such as lobby and hallways.
  • Note that ALL in-person classes are the schedule are designated as "vaccination required". Upload proof of your vaccination to register. Masks are only optional in the classroom.
  • All students must bring their own mats. Props and disposable wipes will be provided. 
  • Do not come to class if you are experiencing COVID symptoms or have been in contact with someone with COVID. 
  • Classes will be limited to 22 students and will also be available for livestream and replay.
