There are considerably fewer requests made of your neck on a daily basis thanks to “conveniences, comforts and computers.” All the lack of motion in our noggins has left our necks craning like a willow branch anchored to a bowling ball. Neck refreshment is the single most requested body area by my student community. This class will help you mobilize, stabilize and revitalize the primary support system of your head.

Props used in this class: YTU Therapy Ball, ALPHA Ball, Coregeous Ball, Wall, Stool or Chair

After doing the Neck Request, Part 1 class, we recommend you also do the following classes from the Replay Library:

This class is a super fun class overall, but it includes a BLOCK/NECK bonus to put your neck knowing to the test.

In the next phase of MOVE, BREATHE, ROLL, Jill focuses on common myths and misperceptions of practice that still persist in yoga and movement classrooms today. Each class tackles a myth that unrolls like a sticky mat when you filter it through anatomy, kinesiology and physiology. Join Jill on this fun myth-busting journey that also translates into other popular movement forms including pilates, CrossFit and Instagram Inspo. Each class will attempt to unpack a myth from a historical/contextual lens and take you through Tune Up Fitness movement practices that help your body to be a lab of curiosity, discovery and mirth.
