Deepening the compassion you have for yourself and others allows you to cultivate a space of internal acceptance, happiness, and peace. Self-compassion practice retrains the harsh inner critic into a compassionate inner ally. It is the antidote to despair and unworthiness. Research shows that self-compassion builds resiliency, motivation, contentment and helps us avoid destructive patterns of negativity, isolation, and fear.
