Jill Alger

Having been an avid runner her whole life, Jill started her yoga journey in 2008. She discovered that her consistent Bikram Yoga practice helped her body function and recover better from years of running. Steady and consistent in her years of practice, 2017 marked Jill’s gradual shift from Bikram to Vinyasa. In 2021, she earned her 200 HR RYT from We Are One Yoga Teacher Training. She has a clear and supportive teaching style that welcomes practitioners of all styles and backgrounds.
From her own and the study of others’ experiences, she is a resolute advocate of the mind-body’s wisdom and organic, inner healing power. A sincere wellness ambassador, Jill believes that yoga has been the cornerstone of her own mental and physical health and believes that it has the profound ability to quiet the mind and in that quiet there is so much one can discover about themselves, their wholeness and divinity. When not in yoga, she can be found working for a national law firm, trekking by foot Reno’s trails and roads, baking dozens of gluten free cookies, or traveling to local and faraway lands. Her husband and two daughters are her biggest fans and her greatest joy.
