The Mandala is a circular symbol representing the universe, the cosmos, the circle of life, the inter-connectedness of all beings. This class begins with a meditation on the circle of light within and around us, then explores circular movements to warm-up the entire body. We then explore a Mandala flow, taking our asanas in circular flow around the mat, so that we face each direction in turn, honoring all that is represented by the Mandala symbol.
