Monday Meditation: Mindfulness tools for anxiety and presence
In this class, we will explore how meditation can be used as a healing tool to manage anxiety and the feelings of overwhelm that many are experiencing at this time. Included in this practice are instructions on the proper alignment for a comfortable sit, exploration of the 4-7-8 breath practice for nervous system rejuvenation, followed by a mindfulness meditation that includes reflection on stress, anxiety, sensation, finding presence, and then dropping into silence. The class closes with thoughts about joy and a prayer of gratitude. Appropriate for all levels of practitioners.
