This posture lab will use two blocks, a wall, chair, strap, and blankets or bolster. The sequence is designed to open the upper back and shoulders to stimulate the lung meridians, improving our circulation and lung capacity. Poses include supported Bridge Pose (Setu Bandha Sarvangasana), Thread the Needle (Parsva Balasana), Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana), Box on the Wall variations, Twisting Pose with wall (Parivrtta Uttanasana), Standing Eagle (Garuda) arms, Kneeling Cow Faced (Gomukh) arms, Standing Spread Leg Forward Bend (Prasarita Padottanasana C), Revolved Twisting Pose with a chair (Parivrtta Parsvakonasana), Camel Pose with a chair (Ustrasana), Bow Pose (Dhanurasana) with bolster, Camel Pose (Ustrasana) with blocks, Intense Stretch of the Dorsal Pose (Paschimottanasana), Pranayama (Sukha Poorvaka with retention), Corpse Pose (Savasana), a closing prayer of gratitude.
