This posture lab class will use two blocks, strap, bolster or folded blankets, a wall, and a chair with a focus on back bending poses. We will begin with a short explanation of Ishvara Pranidhana (devotion and surrender) and how it applies to our physical practice. The sequence includes Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana), Box on the Wall, Low Lunge variations (Anjaneyasana, Parivrtta Anjaneyasana), Cresent with a block against the wall, Upward-Facing Dog Pose (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana on a chair and with blocks), Camel Pose (Ustrasana variations) and Upside Down Bow Pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana), Reclined Twisting Pose (Supta Matsyendrasana), Bound Angle Pose (Baddha Konasana), Intense Stretch of the Dorsal Pose (Paschimottanasana), Corpse Pose (Savasana), and a closing prayer of gratitude.
