The theme for this week is Pranayama (breath control or breath expansion), which is the fourth of the 8 Limbs of Yoga. Class starts with a brief explanation of pranayama, including its physiological and emotional benefits followed by the breathing exercise Sukha Poorvaka (ratio 1:2), silent meditation, and a closing prayer of intention and gratitude.
