Sarah Marianacci (she/her)
Growing up dancing, Sarah (she/her) was naturally drawn to the physical practice of yoga as another way to feel alive through movement. She quickly realized the deep sense of presence she felt through yoga and the permission and safety her practice gave her to explore and connect with herself – and she dove right in!
As an innately curious person, she loves discovering and playing with ease in movement, freedom in alignment, and presence in sensation – both on her mat in her personal practice, while planning and teaching classes, and in the human experience. Sarah’s classes are rooted in strong, slower, intentional movement that allows the time and space to truly experience poses, as well as provide opportunities to experience stillness and rest. Sequences are alignment based and accessible for all levels, with yoga philosophy weaved in to the practice. As a teacher, she aims to guide her students in the joy of discovering personal ‘ah-ha’ moments where they feel empowered, present, and peaceful in their bodies through sensation and breath – always aligning to their true North.
Sarah completed her 200-hour training with Sangha Studio in June 2021, is a certified Restorative Yoga teacher, and has completed a Pranayama Intensive training. She lives with her husband and two pups in a 200 year old farmhouse and can often be found moving her body in some way in nature through all of Vermont’s seasons. Join Sarah for either a Happy Hips and Hamstrings or Move & Restore class on the weekly schedule at Sangha.
