Lou Anne (she/her) McLeod

Lou Anne (she/her) began practicing yoga over twenty years ago as a way to stretch and improve her flexibility. Practicing yoga and meditation helped her move to a place of self-acceptance and self-love. As an older student, she depends on yoga to meet the challenges of an aging body with confidence and grace. 

Lou Anne plans her classes with an emphasis on increasing flexibility, improving balance and building strength. Her approach is to bring compassion and a sense of humor to all her classes. Her classes offer props and other modifications making poses available to all students regardless of their skill levels. 

Lou Anne completed her yoga teacher training through Sangha Studios in 2022. She has continued to expand her knowledge to include: Lakshmi Volker Chair Yoga, Accessible Yoga, Yoga Sequencing and Injury Management and Prevention in Yoga.
