Gabby Grigonis (she/her)
Gabby Grigonis (she/her) believes everyone deserves a mat in the yoga studio, and that it’s our unique individuality that makes practicing in community so powerful. Gabby’s classes are a moment to slow down and turn inward to quiet external distractions. With the goal of bringing awareness to sensation in the body, she will open and close each class with a focused attention on the breath.
Gabby was first introduced to the physical practice of yoga in her late teens, at a time when she so often found herself caught up in society’s high speed chase. Along the journey (present tense) of self discovery and recovery from disordered eating, Gabby has become more attracted to the spiritual and mental aspects of the yoga practice. It was the realization of yoga’s holistic benefits that encouraged her completion of 200-hour Yoga Teacher training with Sangha in 2022. The mat has since become a place of presence, connection, and grounding, which is the foundation of her classes.
Gabby lives in Burlington with her partner Mac and their wiggly-bummed bulldog/pitbull Burger. She is learning to embrace the beauty of all four seasons, and enjoys being in the woods, cooking for loved ones, and cozying up with a page-turner. She is thrilled about the opportunity to share the gift of yoga to members of her surrounding community and looks forward to getting to know everyone :)
