Addie Irvin

Hi! My name is Addie (she/her). I first found the refuge of yoga practice when going through tumultuous times in 2019. I deepened that journey with the 200hr Sangha teacher training in 2023 and am thankful for the continual studentship, new learnings and unfurlings of the practice.

With a background in occupational therapy, I am continually striving to increase accessibility, guide us to feel empowered in our own paths, and access moments of nervous system regulation. I am also inspired by my free dance practice and welcome expressive exploration of finding what feels in alignment for each of our own bodies. I aim to bring a gentle and welcoming atmosphere to my offerings, creating a calming space to gently return to ourselves with compassion and presence (something I am endlessly practicing within myself). I enjoy infusing philosophy into my classes and offering tools and frameworks to support our journeys as humans on this earth.

I am an able-bodied, white, queer person enjoying growing my roots and community at Sangha and in Burlington. In my free time, I can usually be found on beach walks with my fur baby, Roo, or dancing (or both at the same time)!
