Laura Good
After years of practicing yoga to balance the high stress and physical strain that accompanied my nursing career, I wished to deepen my practice and learn more about yogic philosophy. In 2017 I completed my 200-hour certification at Yoga Vida followed by an 85-hour prenatal yoga certification with Integral Yoga Institute, and I continue to teach yoga in and around New York City while I pursue my Master’s Degree in Nurse Midwifery at NYU.
My yoga classes are moderately-paced and alignment focused, and are designed to be challenging yet accessible to everyone. I aim for my students to leave class feeling energized, clear-headed, and present. Outside of yoga and school, I love to read, cook, make ceramics, experiment with paint and watercolors, bike around Brooklyn, think of greeting card ideas, make lists, journal, and travel.
