This is a gentle-moderate multi-level yoga class that typically includes seated, standing, and reclined postures as well as some weight-bearing on the hands through hands-and-knees positions and sun salutations. This practice concludes with Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a process that gradually withdraws our awareness from the outer world, and turns it inward. The experience of Yoga Nidra is a state of mind that initiates between wakefulness and dream sleep where mental activity quiets down to the point that ordinarily you would fall asleep. But you don¹t go to sleep. Instead you enter a quiet, "sleep-like" state, while maintaining a link to consciousness.
