We are creatures of habit, so change can sometimes be hard - change in schedule, change in weather, change in season of life. Yin yoga gives us the opportunity to connect with our body and needs, release the impacts stress may have on us, quiet the mind and get deeply present.

Getting Grounded: This practice will help you get grounded, centered and oriented to where you are in your life, noticing the changes all around: in the seasons and in your body. Practice includes heart openers, side bends and foreword folds.
Fear & Resistance: As human, we are wired to resist change. This practice will help you explore the nature of fear and resistance in relationship to your body, breath and mind. Poses will focus on legs, ankle and feet. Includes Alternate Nostril pranayama.
Contracting & Expanding: We are intimately connected to the rhythms of nature, the contractions that happens at the change of seasons. This practice will embody the opening and closing that happens by exploring forward and backward movement of the spine. Class starts with Sun Moon Breath.
Tuning Into What's Around Us: The last of the series, this class invites you to look at all that's changed in the last four weeks - in and around you, as well as in nature. What do the changing seasons have to teach us? Class works into the upper back, chest, side body and shoulders to support the lungs and strengthen the immune system.
