Kula Flow: Thoracic Mobility & Hip Stability
(Props: 2 blocks, 1 blanket, 1 ball)
Roll your feet and get moving with some hip CARs - then move into lots of yummy thoracic rotation with strength and stability around the hips. Heat up with a good dose of flow, standing work and time for inversions. End with some grounding pranayama and a peaceful rest.
(Int/Adv) Kula Flow is vinyasa (or flow) style yoga with an emphasis on creativity and alignment. Classes are inventive and thoughtful sequences of sun salutations, standing & seated postures, back bending, and inversions—guided by a steady breath to tone and calm the mind. Most teachers also use bandha work to open and strengthen the inner body.
