After moving to Tribeca twenty years ago, I stumbled upon a premie Kula on the way to the train. I went, was hands down hooked by the first hip opener, and the rest is history. I started teaching at Kula in 2005 ...
(Suggested props: 1-2 blocks, 1 strap and 1 blanket. You can also manage this class with no props!)

We start right up at the top of the mat with moon salutations, move into suns, and then work rom a straddle shape facing the side of the mat as we move into gate poses and backbends. Sirsasana (headstand) variations follow, and then some nice seated work + pranayama and then a singing bowl serenade to finish!
