After moving to Tribeca twenty years ago, I stumbled upon a premie Kula on the way to the train. I went, was hands down hooked by the first hip opener, and the rest is history. I started teaching at Kula in 2005 ...(Suggested props: 2 blocks and 1 strap)
It's all about the ball and sockets in this class! Lots of hips and shoulders. Gomukasana arms and legs, some warrior 2s and 3s and a forearm stand for your inversion. You will also start class in a supported backbend and end class in an active backbend.
