Kula Quickie: Hips, Heart & A Handstand

After moving to Tribeca twenty years ago, I stumbled upon a premie Kula on the way to the train. I went, was hands down hooked by the first hip opener, and the rest is history. I started teaching at Kula in 2005 ...
(Suggested props: 2 blocks for sure. If you have a bolster or 2 rolled blankets to make a bolster grab it. You can substitute your blocks for this if you don't have it. Lastly, if you have a strap we will use it at the very end but if you don't have it you will be fine without!)

This class will open your hips and soothe your heart! You will explore fish postures, thoracic mobility, ardha chandrasana variations, a handstand and an inverse or inclined plank as our final backbend. You will counter with gomukasana and then off to blissful rest you go!
