What do sidebodies have to do with backbending? If you think of backbending as extension that then migrates backwards, it all becomes clear. The more length you can make between your armpits and your pelvis, the more spacious you will feel in your backbends. You will also get upside down in this class and finish with some straddle sidebody combo shapes.
