Iyengar Yoga is a safe and systematic development of the asanas (postures) known for its focus on alignment. In this class we will work to refine the standing poses, and Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand), as these poses are the foundations of the Iyengar Method. As students become more advanced in these poses other postures including forward bends, backbends, twists, Salamba Sirsasana (headstand), and other inversions will be added. This class is open to students of all levels.
