Welcome to our WTF series where Kathryn breaks down common yoga poses that make you think — wtf?

On today's menu: Tittibhasana or Firefly Pose. A magnificent arm balance that looks like it must feel glorious but is actually an astronomical amount of work. This posture calls for open hamstrings, deep flexion, core, balance — so yeah, a little bit of everything. So everything we shall do! Part flow, part workshop, this class will be fun (yes fun!) and deepen your understanding of this powerful arm balance.

Postures include: hero, reclined core, baddha konasana, wide legged forward fold, malasana, sun salutation A, adductor boat variations, plow pose, sun salutation B with lizard variations, runner's lunge, warrior ii, scandasana, bound side angle, bhujapidasana, tittibhasana A + B, with variations at wall and on blocks, window wipers, supported bridge, reclined twist, savasana.
