This meditation focuses on Japa (derived from the Sanskrit root, jap, meaning "to repeat quietly and internally”). Mala beads are encouraged but not required. The mantra "I am free" is repeated 108 times followed by silence and observation to help us invest in the unchanging: the inner self.

Each meditation will end with five minutes of free writing, so a journal or something to write with is encouraged.
