Self-care is self-love! When we take great care of ourselves, we are much more joyful, much more peaceful, much more effective, and healthier! The pressure of our modern everyday life can cause imbalances in our body, mind and spirit and according to some ancient healing modalities, imbalances are the causes of disease. So it's important to "cultivate health" consciously. In this class, we will borrow from the teachings of ancient Taoists, Yogis and other modern days inspirations to assist us to thrive and glow in our life. Be prepared for your weekly supertonic of simple qigong, self-massage, myofascial release, conditioning exercises, yin, movement, Taoist and Tantric wisdom, and modern living inspirations. Props suggested: 1-2 blocks, 2 myofascial release or tennis balls, a cushion or blanket.
