Strengthen Shoulders, Activate Core, Stack Your Hips For Inversions

Aired -

To come into handstand requires us to coordinate a few moving parts. Essentially we are in mountain pose with our arms pressed up but in an inverted position. So pressing down through our hands to activate our shoulders and core and to find the stretch in our hips is essential for this inversion handstand power flow practice.

Power Flow is a vigorous, flow-based practice, influenced by the Ashtanga vinyasa style developed by Patthabi Jois. This is a comprehensive fitness experience that includes strength building and deep stretching with an emphasis on a motivational teaching style. It is recommended that you have previous experience in vinyasa-style practice.
