Prenatal Yoga | Life is Your Greatest Teacher

All the situations in our lives, from the insignificant to the major, can teach us exactly what we need to learn at any given time. Patience, compassion, perseverance, honesty, and letting go are all covered in the classroom of life.

We can help ourselves remember life as a perfect teacher each day by starting every morning with these words: “I acknowledge and honor the teacher that is my life. May I be wise enough to recognize the teachers and lessons that I encounter today, and may I be open to receiving their wisdom.” (Taken from the DailyOM)

Class begins with side-lying stretches for the quadriceps, inner thighs and hamstrings followed by a side-body and hip-opening sequence. Class ends with Chandra Namaskar as a way to honor both your strength and flow, shitali pranayama (cooling breath) and a 5 minute restorative period.
