We begin with a resting awareness meditation: rather than focusing on any one thing, we notice what's going on around us and within us. The slow vinyasa flow is designed to build heat and open hips, shoulders, and hamstrings in preparation for bird of paradise pose (svarga dvijasana). For class grab a blanket, two blocks, a strap and your jams.
