A workout/movement fusion class designed to help strengthen the body.
Mason will guide movements that use gymnastics rings, dumbbells, the wall, the floor, tennis balls, straps, and body weight to explore the many different motor patterns we have in our human bodies.
This playful push into the parasympathetic (stress from working out) intends to enhance your asana experience– allowing you to work more deeply in different shapes.
The group dynamic will promote community through challenging us to examine how and why we move the way we do. We will talk about and work through common 21st century body imbalances (scapula elevation and protraction, poor postural muscles, closed front body, overly stretched posterior chain, etc).
This is not your average HIIT class that will leave you depleted; rather, it is an opportunity to explore and push your limits in a fun and sustainable way.
This is a class for movers; and as human beings, you move, so this class is for you!
