Sunday Yin Chill

-

at YOGA SOUP (28 PARKER WAY SANTA BARBARA, California 93101)

This beginner friendly restorative and meditation class is gentle and slow-paced.

Yin is a ‘feeling good practice’ that explores the connective tissue: our largest sense organ- a wide web inside of us. It is a powerful antidote for the “go-fast” culture we abide in. A slow paced class that focuses on accessing ligaments, tendons, and fascia over muscle tissue. Our connective tissue is said to be our consciousness system- it stores energy and emotions. There is a convergence of breath, stillness, body/pose awareness, surrender and learning to relax! A bolster, blocks, and strap are used to create awareness/expansion of the poses. Increase strength, flexibility, joint mobility and improve posture and agility.

Music is played during this class.
