We are beginning a new series in 5 Elements Qi Gong where we will spend more in-depth time with each organ system for 4 weeks. Practicing  a movement, sound, color, emotion- as well as a look at short descriptions of modern medicinal functions as well as traditional medicinal functions, including learning  the energetic path of each organ system called a “meridian”. Sometimes dis-ease settles in specific organ systems. We can use these teachings to gain a deeper understanding of our health and well being. Briefly touching on modern as well as traditional understandings of each organ's role and function in our body, we can heal ourselves from the inside out!

We will meet weekly for some gentle Qi Gong followed by laying on our mats while Rachel gently places acupuncture needles in specific points at the outer edges of the ear. These points have been clinically proven to simulate and adjust our nervous system allowing for deep relaxation and deep healing.

Qi Gong is highly beneficial for overall health and well-being. We will practice at the opening of class, combining movement, breath control, and mindfulness to harmonize the body's energy flow. This is to prepare the body, mind, and spirit to more fully receive the benefits of acupuncture.

We use Auricular (ear) Acupuncture to strengthen and relax our bodies and lighten our minds.

Acupuncture stimulates our nervous system to release chemicals into our muscles, spinal cord and brain which promote natural healing physically and emotional well-being.

Incorporating Qi Gong and Acupuncture into your routine can lead to a more balanced, vital, and harmonious life.

Please bring a mat and wear warm comfortable clothing.
