Join Hattie Bluestone and Anahita Holden for a nourishing exploration of self-compassion, including guided meditations, written reflections, and discussion with opportunities to share and ask questions. We will explore what self-compassion is, common barriers to self-compassion, and ways to strengthen your capacity to respond to difficult times with kindness. Participation in discussion will always be optional. Feel welcome to attend just to listen, breathe, and enjoy. Snacks provided.


Hattie Bluestone, MA, AMFT is a psychotherapist, meditation teacher, and yoga instructor, with over 15 years of teaching experience. She specializes in mindfulness, self-compassion, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Hattie is passionate about helping her students and clients connect with their inner wisdom, compassion, and strength. In her classes, she hopes you feel welcomed exactly as you are and inspired to befriend yourself and live your life wholeheartedly. Hattie holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is a Level 2 Trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, as well as a trained teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion. At Yoga Soup, Hattie leads self-compassion workshops and teaches a joyful movement class. As a therapist, she works in private practice in downtown Santa Barbara and online. Anahita finds herself at home in the rich integration of mindfulness-based practices, yoga, and sound meditation. She is a clinical psychologist and has a private psychotherapy practice in downtown Santa Barbara. Anahita is a certified yoga instructor trained by Tracy and Gangha White of the White Lotus Foundation, and is a trained Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher and Somatic Experiencing® and EMDR Practitioner. Her passion is to incorporate Buddhist psychology, somatic approaches, and self-compassion practices to assist individuals in their psycho-spiritual journeys.
