Active Beginners

This beginner to intermediate hatha class is active with a slow-pace.

Class starts with centering and settling; focusing on our breathing. We then move through a slow and steady warm up for our bodies, building into standing pose sequences. Towards the end of class, we wind down with stretchy poses and finish with a few minutes of rest. Requests are appreciated and pose variations and fine tuning will be offered throughout class for your individual interests and needs. Connecting through feeling to your body, deep breathing is emphasized. Students newer to yoga, or anyone who wants a slower paced practice, will learn how to combine breath and movement at a pace that is accessible.
