at Yoga Moderne (14872 Metcalf Ave Overland Park, Kansas 66223)

Community yoga classes are a give-back.  Some days, we are all tired.  We need respite.  We need a safe space to heal, move, and breathe.  We need to laugh.  Someone may cry.  It's okay.  You are not the first.

Join Yoga Moderne in our peaceful, second home environment to reconnect with your (new) people and practice yoga with our beautiful, beautiful teachers.  It's free.  You deserve it.  You've carried a lot for your community.

On Second Sundays at 2 pm, join us for an edition of Community Kids! Yoga hosted with Whole Parent Foundation (@wholeparentfoundation).

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
This beginner-friendly, all levels practice can be modified to suite both new and intermediate experience students.  Trying new things can be tough but doing it together in a group makes it much easier.

No special clothes are required.  It can be nice to have a water bottle. Wear loose, comfortable clothing or something breathable if you do prefer a held in feeling.  Socks, even grippy ones, are usually a hassle.

You do not need to buy or bring a yoga mat.  We have mats and all equipment you would need to use available for free in our studio.

Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before your class to stow your shoes, phone, and belongings. We remotely lock our studio doors before class begins.  You'll want that time to check in, use the restroom, and find your mat space.  Visiting before class or "grounding" taking a restorative posture to begin to withdraw your thoughts is also a BIG part of the experience!
