Broadening the lens through which addiction has been historically seen supports deeper levels of healing. ย
Guided by yogic texts, trauma research and modern neuroscience, Y12SR combines cognitive and somatic approaches to support creating a holistic framework for sustainable recovery from ALL addiction.

- Create open and inclusive space that welcomes those dealing with their own addictive behavior or are affected by the addictive behavior of others.
- Distinguish the root of addictive behavior
- Recognize the symptoms of nervous system dysregulation and unresolved traumaย
- Identify how and where โthe issues live in our tissuesโ
- Use yoga philosophy and practices to offer relapse prevention tools and sustainable ways for managing internal states.
- Work collaboratively within the group setting and with institutions.
The Y12SR Leadership training is an 18-hour online training designed for yoga teachers, addiction recovery professionals and other human services workers. ย
This training is the second step in a two-part certification process. Upon completion of both the Y12SR Intensive and Leadership Training, you will be fully certified to lead weekly Y12SR meetings in community or clinical settings.
You will also receive access to a private library of training and marketing materials, and ongoing support from a community of professionals.
Prerequisite: To attend this training you must have completed The Y12SR Intensive prior to April 13, 2023.ย
