Are you interested in adding a new teaching skill to your tool belt? Would you like to learn how to create a safe and nurturing environment for your students to unwind physical, mental and emotional stress? Would you like to share Yin Yoga as a path of mindful awareness and a gateway to inner resources?

If so, join Gioconda Parker with Camila Matos for this  online weekend long Yin Training Program. You will learn a series of Yin Yoga poses and their modifications so you can teach to a wide range of students. You will learn how to combine them in sequences that are powerful and effective. You will learn techniques to assist and support your students and help them move deeper into their own experience.

You will learn mindfulness principles that help you guide your Yin Yoga students through the practice as they develop witness consciousness and an ability to be with themselves as they are, and be present to what is with awareness and loving kindness. You will also learn basic techniques to support your students in working with their nervous system, and with your own in the process, so you can hold space and they can let go of stress and re-discover their own natural resiliency.

18 Hours of Yoga Alliance CEU’s can be earned by completing this program.

Gioconda has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and draws on her years of training and teaching and deep well of knowledge to create Continuing Education programs for yoga teachers. In addition to her training in the field of yoga, she holds a Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Psychology and has completed a three-year training program in Somatic Experiencing©, a body-based system developed by Dr. Peter Levine.
