In my halcyon days as a “yoga only” practitioner, I avoided high intensity training for 2 reasons: 1) Explosive work left me injured (cuz I was so overstretched!) 2) I would be sore for days afterwards (cuz I was so weak and overstretched!) After I finally shook off my “yoga only” fog, I realized that my movement diet was missing many macro-nutrients, including cultivating true elasticity in my fascial body and heart strengthening, heart-thumping conditioning. This HIIT-ish class aims to support you with precovery and recovery rollouts as well as safely navigate an embodied on-ramp for super fun, health building intensity.
Props used in this class: Coregeous Ball, ALPHA Twinset, Therapy Ball PLUS Pair, YTU Therapy Balls, 2 Blocks
